Here's my version of a conversation I recently had with God:
God: "Hey Becky, why don't you let me be in control and give me that 'thing' you're worried about."
Me: "That sure sounds like a good idea. I should do that."
God: "Okay...well then...give it to me."
Me: "Sure"
God: "Becky...ummm, you really haven't fully given me that worry yet. You're still holding on to it."
Me: "No, I gave it to you God." (If I had a nickel for everytime I said that...)
God: "Hmmm...no you didn't really give it to me...you need to let go. Have I ever let you down before?"
Me: "No, you've never let me down before."
God: "Yeah, so boo yaw! Point proven. Give it to me and let go girl!"
